Parks and Recreation

The Gunter area has many recreational opportunities including state/regional parks, public parks, arts and music. The City also offers great youth sports programs and has appointed a Park Board to help develop recreational opportunities in the city.

Community Parks


The City of Gunter maintains Gunter City Park which provides recreational opportunities including a wooded picnic area and tennis courts.

Golf

The City of Gunter is served by the Bridges Golf Club which has an 18-hole par-72 Signature Golf Course designed by Masters Champion Fred Couples. The course is 7,600 yards long with 5 sets of tees and includes extensive practice range facilities and a luxurious clubhouse.

Gunter Youth Association

The Gunter Youth Association provides an organized athletic program to the youth of the Gunter area.
